PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Located at the root of „Palm Jumeirah“, on an almost circular site of 500 m in diameter, a complex of buildings is come into being.

On top of the four levels of parking and delivery zones, “Living City“, a complete new urban area is devoloped, consisting of up to 14 storeys high buildings. Among these buildings four high-risers are placed, measuring 280  m of height. The towers are connected with each other by a 3 storey high roof construction, the so-called “crown“.

Outriggerconstructions in the technical storeys take care of bracing the extreme slim towers. The roof construction which spans up to 130 m, is made of a steel-frameconstruction. WTM Engineers checked several means of assembling this construction.
