The 8 - storey high building with a maximum in the basement of approximately 45 m x 22 m is designed as a jointless reinforced concrete structure, the foundation watertight concrete structure. The ground floor and basement become part of the public flood wall (“polder”). The upper floors are 10 m above the walkway and the inner harbour. The facades of the various areas are designed differently according to usage. The residential areas are enveloped by a bearing façade irregularly perforated. A glass façade has been designed for the office areas. Behind this facade slanting supports and beams form a framework at roof level.
