Logistic Terminal Waltershof depot 2 (Hamburg)
The Logistik Terminal Waltershof, Hamburg, is planning to build a second warehouse for storage of sports and leisure fabrics. A part of the building will serve as a storage space of water pollutants.
The warehouse is designed as a Ramped building with a length of 196 m, a width of 69 m, and a ceiling height of 9,75 m.Covering a ground area of about 13,400 mē, the interior of the warehouse is separated by walls into four sections for fire protection, ranging from 2,300 mē to 4,000 mē. Three of these sections contain 9 m high rackings with narrow way access paths. The forth section is designed with two storeys used as the delivery area, offices and social rooms. The building rests on a pile foundation. The load bearing structure consists of reinforced concrete columns and a roof of wooden truss girders.
